Fit Tip
Most of you have told me that the battle with losing weight isn’t as easy as it once was. Then I tell you when to workout and what to eat.  Everyone….eventually loves working out but not everyone loves eating right. Today I would like to reach out to those of you who are having trouble motivating yourself to eat right by giving you my two most humbling ways to motivate yourself to eat right.

Make yourself wear spandex until you can “wear spandex”.
If you look terrible in it, you’ll pass on the morning doughnut ritual won’t you…..plus you’ll save yourself some time getting changed to go to the gym after work.

Eat Naked
Eat your breakfast, lunch and dinner naked in front of a mirror. If you don’t like what you see you may make yourself sick…in which case, you won’t eat as much.

Still Not Motivated
Save 20% when you hire a trainer for 12 hours of private training….. you’ll want to be fit before the holidays……your in-laws don’t want to see you naked at Thanksgiving Dinner!

To see those who quit wearing spandex and eating naked, go to betterbodiestucson.com.
See you in the gym,

Jeramy Price

It really is a doozy that some of the best-tasting foods are actually some of the worst for you, in terms of fat and calories. I know it can be hard to avoid them, especially in places—like malls—where nutrition 101 usually isn’t available nor carried for. So I took the liberty to do some work for you; take a look at a list of foods you should skip—at a mall, restaurant, or grocery store, and the alternative to each.

(A 2,000-calorie-a-day diet should have no more than 66 grams of fat, less than 20 grams saturated; 2,400 milligrams of sodium; and 300 grams of total carbohydrate, including sugars.)

The euphemist phrase I hear on day-to-day bases “But I eat lots of fruit with my ice cream, that isn’t bad for you, right?” Wrong!! Ice creams are crammed with unwanted sugars and fats. Just because you add fruit doesn’t make it healthy…That’s like going to Burger King, getting a Whopper supersize meal with a diet Coke…Very counterproductive!

The Calories are excessive! More than two Whoppers put together. And that’s just the teaser size. One bowl with 2 scoops of ice cream: 1,064 calories, 62.2g fat, 88.4g sugar and 96.6g of carbohydrates.

The Healthier Alternative: Better Bodies “Through the lips & off the hips” Peanut butter/Chocolate smoothie concoction. 22 grams of Protein, 31g of carbohydrates, and 9g of fat with a calorie count of only 285!!

In our high pace society and the job market hours growing tremendously everyday…every one of us, it seems, has a caffeine product strapped to the palm of our hand! Sure we know it’s bad, but how bad is it? This afternoon pick-me-up delivers nearly one-third of the maximum fat you should consume in a day, and over half a day’s saturated fat.

One 16-ounce Grande: 510 calories; 19g fat, 11g saturated; 59g sugar; 300mg sodium.

Healthier Alternative: The simple thing to say is “stop drinking them…” but I wouldn’t be practicing what I preach. Your best bet is a regular cup of coffee without all the bells and whistles. If you just can’t live without a Frappuccino, make it a Coffee Frappuccino Light Blended Coffee: 130 calories, 0.5g fat, and 16g sugar.

You don’t have to be a rocket scientist to suspect that milkshakes aren't all that healthy. But this particular shake, made with chocolate ice cream, milk, and peanut butter, is in a class of its own. This titan of a frosty delivers an entire day’s worth of calories and almost three and a half times the daily limit for saturated fat.

One "Gotta Have It" from Coldstone: 2,010 calories; 131g fat, 68g saturated; 153g sugar.

A Healthier Alternative: Better Bodies “German Chocolate Cake”….This delicious, healthy treat makes you feel like your indulging in a homemade cake imported from German itself!

Everyone from time to time experiences fatigue whether its be mental or physical

If you are feeling tired, sleepy or lack of energy, have a good look at your diet. The best foods are those which can be easily digested and release energy slowly.

1. Oatmeal - Working long hours can hinder early morning wake ups, for instant energy in that “groggy” early AM wake up; oatmeal can be a quick boost to get you out the door. Oatmeal is a super meal which helps maintain normal blood sugar level. Containing high fiber content, which is very important for cleansing intestinal track. It also provides magnesium, protein and phosphorus. Three key nutrients that directly affect energy levels and can fight emotional fatigue. It is also a source of vitamin B 1 or Thiamine which play important role in cell metabolism.

2. Yogurt - Yogurt is a wonderful source of iodine, calcium, phosphorus, vitamin B 2, vitamin B 12, protein and zinc. Yogurt contains probiotics; Research from the University of Toronto suggests that probiotic supplementation boost level of tryptophan in the brain. Tryptophan helps induce sleep promoting feelings of calm. It also contains live bacteria which may fortify your immune system and helps you to live a longer and healthier life! Eating yogurt is an easy and delicious way to improve your cholesterol profile. However, there are a number of different yogurts out there on the shelves, avoid the ones that have artificial colors or sweeteners.

3. Spinach – You’ve been hearing it since you were a kid, “eat your greens...” Leafy greens like spinach provide more nutrients than any other food. Spinach is an excellent source of vitamin K, vitamin A, magnesium, manganese, iron, calcium, vitamin C, vitamin B2, potassium, and vitamin B6.The mineral iron is important for women, growing children and adolescents. Low level of iron can cause physical and mental fatigue.

4. Nuts and Seeds - Nuts and seeds are very healthy and nutritious. They contain protein, omega3 fats, magnesium, phosphorus, iron, copper, vitamins B1, B2, B5, B6 and tryptophan. Omega-3s not only lower the glycemic index of foods but also helps in maintaining healthy cells. Stay away from the roasted or salted nuts, leaning toward the raw seeds can be a healthier choice for your diet.

5. Beans - Beans are an excellent source of potassium, iron, calcium, magnesium, phosphorus, copper, and thiamine. They are low in fat, high in fiber and provide stable and slow burning energy which can help against fatigue. The percentage of cholesterol and sugar per serving are normally 0%; therefore beans are a great food choice.

Working out should be mandatory

With stressful times in the economy, leading to stressful headaches... working out should be mandatory!

Exercising itself may be a stressful thought. However, once you actually start working out, you'll experience less stress in every part of your life.

"Exercise produces a relaxation response that serves as a positive distraction," says Cedric Bryant, chief exercise physiologist for the American Council on Exercise. He says it also helps elevate your mood and keep depression at bay.

You're not the only person who will benefit from more happiness and less stress in your life. When you're less stressed, you're less irritable, Atkinson says -- and that could improve relationships with your partner, kids, and co-workers. In turn leading to a more productive job, happy spouse and behaving off spring.

Feeling stressed, hire a Better Bodies trainer for only $4.50 per day and schedule a Tranquility Massage at ME salon- We are the best in health, wellness and relaxation !!

The anatomy of the human body

The anatomy of the human body is astounding... however if we do not take care of our finely working piece of equipment it will break down. For instance, eating fast food, not working out, inhabiting a sedentary life style ect... These habits can lead to Diabetes Mellitus, or more commonly known as "Diabetes". Diabetes is a serious condition in which your body doesn't produce insulin or produces inadequate amounts of insulin. Many people think to themselves "oh I will just get insulin shots, I will be ok..." but the harsh reality of it is you will NOT be ok PHYSICALLY OR FISCALLY. Life expectancy will go down and the average cost of an insulin shot is $27 to $87... and diabetics take on average 4 shots per day.

Do you really want to take a shot every day, multiple times a day?? This doesn’t sound appealing to most people. And the reason I say "most people..." is because 17.9 million people are diagnosed with diabetes, and another 5.7 million people are undiagnosed with diabetes... adding another 57 million people have pre-diabetes!! This is an astronomical amount of people diagnosed with a disease that is almost always curable by two simple medicines... EXERCISE and HEALTHY EATING!!!

Yes! Simply exercising 3 times a week for 30 minutes and eating a healthy diet can reverse and prevent TYPE ll diabetes.

Our new personal training plan costs only $4.50 per day... plus we'll write your diet!!! save your life and your money by hiring a well-trained trainer... or attend our free workshop Saturday March 17th at 1pm, where Jason Jackson will teach you how exercise and diet can quickly change your life!!!!

Is there anything better than a sexy pair of legs?

Swimsuit season is right around the corner again and you have just enough time to tone up your legs, thighs and hips so that you look great in those summer skirts.

The key to having sexy legs is to build muscle and burn fat at the same time……and the best way to go about that is our brand new 15-minute workout. Perfect for those who hate to wait and love a challenge. From kettlebells to medicine balls……this 15-minute workout will kick your ass!.......and best of all if you buy a package of 15-minute workouts before February 29th, we’ll give you 25% off.

Who says having a private trainer isn’t affordable, now you can train twice per week for less than $5 per day ($32 per week/7 days = $4.57 per day)-Angela spends more than that at Starbucks!!!!! Stop by the front desk and buy a 15-minute package, this offer is only good for the first 25 people, expires Feb 29th and is backed by a 30-day 110% money back guarantee!!!!!

Please understand I didn’t mean to scare any exerciser’s away with the above mentioned 15-minute description. These 15 minute workouts were also developed for those who lack the core strength, stability and stamina to make it through a Yoga or Pilates class. Each and every workout is individually tailored for the needs of the client! I wouldn’t offer a 110% money back guarantee if I didn’t feel 110% confident the program would help you build muscle and burn fat at any age, weight or fitness level!!!!
